There's probably a book inside you. The question is: when will you write it?
Perhaps you’ve had an idea for years.
You might have a story you’ve wanted to tell, knowledge you want to share, an experience that could help others, or simply an idea that keeps returning to you.
You may even have started writing it.
And then life got in the way.
Work, family, commitments, and the everyday demands of life can make writing a book seem like something you’ll get to one day.
But what if one day could be now?
One of the biggest misconceptions about writing a book is that you need to have everything worked out before putting the first words on the page.
You don’t.
You don't need to know exactly how many chapters there will be. You don't need a perfect writing routine. You don't even necessarily need to know how the book will end.
You need an idea — and the willingness to explore it.
The process of writing can help you discover what your book is really about.
Sometimes the hardest part is simply knowing where to begin.
This is where I can help.
Through my book writing mentoring, I help people take an idea and start turning it into something tangible.
That might mean helping you:
You don't hadon't arrive with a finished manuscript.
You don't have to be an experienced writer.
You need to start.
Another reason people don't finish their books is the pressure to make every sentence perfect.
That can stop a book before it has even begun.
The first draft is about getting the ideas down. Development, editing and refinement come later.
Your job initially isn't to write a perfect book.
Your job is to create the book.
Once something exists on the page, you have something to work with.
Writing a book can be about much more than becoming a bestselling author.
It can help you make sense of your experiences.
It can let you share what you've learned.
It can establish you as an expert in your field.
It can become part of your business.
It can preserve a story for future generations.
Or it can simply be something you've dreamed of doing.
There is something incredibly satisfying about being able to say:
"I wrote a book."
And you don't know where your book might eventually lead.
Sometimes what people need isn't someone to write the book for them.
They need someone who understands the process and can help them take the next step.
That's what my mentoring is designed to provide.
I have written and published multiple books myself and have years of experience in writing, publishing, and communicating ideas. I can help you move from "I've always wanted to write a book" to "I've started writing my book."
And sometimes that first step is the most important one.
I want the mentoring to be accessible to people who genuinely want to explore writing but may not want to commit to expensive professional packages.
So there is no fixed fee for my book writing mentoring.
Instead, I ask that you donate whatever amount feels appropriate and affordable.
No complicated package or large upfront commitment.
The important thing is that you get started.
Perhaps you've been thinking about it for five years.
Perhaps you've been thinking about it for twenty.
Perhaps you bought a notebook, opened a document, wrote the first page — and then stopped.
Maybe you have hundreds of ideas but don't know which one to pursue.
Whatever stage you're at, you don't have to have all the answers.
Start with the idea.
Start with a conversation.
Start with one page.
Your book won't write itself.
If you've always wanted to write a book, perhaps the better question isn't "Can I write a book?"
It's:
"What is stopping me from starting?"
And if you'd like some help taking that first step, I'd be happy to help.
Your book could be closer than you think.
Writing has become an important part of my own exploration of psychology, spirituality and the human experience.
As a published author, I understand that writing a book is far more than putting words on a page. Developing an idea, finding your voice, structuring a manuscript and, eventually, seeing your work become a finished book can be both exciting and challenging. I enjoy helping other writers develop their ideas and would be happy to offer my experience to people who are considering writing their own book.
Perhaps you've had an idea for years, but don't know where to begin. Maybe you've started writing but aren't sure how to develop the story, structure your ideas or take the next step.
I can offer informal guidance and support based on my own experience as an author, including discussing your idea, talking through structure and offering an independent perspective on your writing.
This isn't a formal publishing or professional editorial service. It's simply an opportunity to talk to another writer who has been through the process.
I don't want cost to be a barrier for someone who genuinely wants to explore their writing.
For that reason, I don't charge a fixed fee for this service.
If you find our conversation useful, you can donate whatever you feel is appropriate.
There is no set amount and no obligation. The idea is simply to make my experience as a published author available to people who might benefit from it.
Have a book idea? Let's talk about it.
“Book writing mentoring from a published author as seen on Dragons Den — share your idea, develop your vision and take the first steps towards bringing your book to life. I ask only for a donation, with no fixed fee.”
