Entrepreneurial Experience


In addition to my work in psychology, I have first-hand experience as an entrepreneur. One of the highlights of my business journey was appearing on the BBC's Dragons' Den, where I pitched a business idea based on a book I had written.


Standing in front of successful investors and presenting a business concept under intense scrutiny was both a challenging and rewarding experience. It required preparation, confidence, adaptability, and the ability to communicate clearly under pressure—qualities that are equally important in business, leadership, and high-performance environments.

The experience provided valuable insights into entrepreneurship, innovation, decision-making, and resilience. It reinforced the importance of staying focused on long-term goals, learning from feedback, and maintaining confidence when facing uncertainty.

As both a psychologist and entrepreneur, I understand the realities of building projects, taking risks, managing setbacks, and pursuing ambitious goals. This combination of psychological expertise and real-world business experience enables me to support individuals, leaders, and organisations in developing the mindset and skills needed to perform at their best.

For many years, I have worked with athletes, coaches, and performers to help them achieve consistent high-level performance in demanding environments. While the setting may be different, the psychological challenges faced by business leaders and teams are often remarkably similar.
